Pawidya: Graduation Day
fiuh... after a few days concerning about pawidya and stuff, It's finally over
I didn't wear kebaya that I bought a few weeks ago with mom. It turns out looked like my grandma's clothes. I saw a gorgeous kebaya at Batik Keris but it's about 800.000 and Mom can't buy that. so I looked for another kebaya and I found it. It was mine but a bit small and short. But I guest I can made that work, hehe..
It's a very simple kebaya and It's white. I thought that I could change the bottom to a real batik not like the green one that I made but It will take much longer to made it.
In the end I decided to wear the white kebaya with green batik for the skirt. Mom lend me her necklace, brooch, and earrings. I planed to wear it but than I took it off when I got there. I don't know why.
I didn't plan to wear a make up. I just gonna wear lipstick than I went to salon to curl my hair. But when we got there the hair dresser seems to know what to do because someone from Taruna bakti came to this salon too last year. Mom said that it will be better if I put on some make up. okay... whatever. So he put some simple thin make up on me and curl my hair for about one hour while my mom was having manicure and ped
icure.
This is the second time a professional put on a make up on me. the first time was at my aunt wedding.. pale make up, red lipstick yucks! This time, they put on an ice cube on my face, then some liquid powder !? than the powder. He put on a mascara, eyeshadow, glitter and fake eyelashes. It's pretty uncomfortable when he put on a liquid powder right below my eyes. It made tears came out of my eyes. Than he curl my hair and twirling.. twirling the hair. I don't even know what he was doing but when I got to pawaidya, It ruin. I guess it because the hairpin wasn't right and I moved a lot. I had a sleek hair (that's what every hairdressers always said) so It's very hard to keep my hair curl even though I have used hairspray. It curly only at the tip when the event started.
When I got there. I met Dini who also just got there. We went to inside the gym after a little arguing with mom about my hair and the accessories. we waited for a while than I saw Abi was taking a picture in a small photo studio that the school has prepared for us. Than rachma came, and than Dina and Zhany. Dina looked great actually but It's too feminine for the kind of person like her so she was a bit uncomfortable with it.
We went around the gym, waiting til 1.30 than Nabilla shows up. She wore her mom's kebaya. That's it. no make up. regular hair. It's so her.
The event started about 2 o'clock and I sit on the chair that the teacher has arranged the other day. First of all is the introduction and some greeting from the pricipal, the head of student council and etc... etc. Eddy who supposed to sit beside me finally showed up before the last greeting (she missed the practice too). Next, musical performances: choir, angklung and Alan Davison sing with Tito and two other guys playing the instrument. They announced the achievement and our grades at last
After we waited long enough, it's finally came to the part when we get our diploma. The teachers mention out name one by one and It's finally my turn. So not easy to walk and get up on the stage wearing long skirt and heels :x I got up on stage, mam anke put taruna Bakti's silver medal around my neck and Mrs. Lucy gave me the diploma. I got off the stage and I saw Mr. Insan smiled at me so I smile backI was soo relief that I finally graduated from Junior High School. I looked at my report card and I realized that I never get more than 80 on Math for this 3 years, *sigh. gotta study harder next year.

I said goodbye to my friends and than leave. Before we leave, I catch up with Nabilla and met her mother and father. My mom finally met them too :)
I didn't get many picture for this event. My sister brought a camera but she's too lazy to take a picture of me, phbtt!
I only got 5 pictures. Not good! I hope I can still made a scrap page for those.
I can finally brief. Like all the problem was gone. This day is the last day being a 9th grader in TB JHS. but there's only one thing left to do... Prom Night!
